Elections have become a massive apparatus of vendors, associations, consultants, NGOs, and government agencies (and regulations) … all leading back to private equity firms who turn profits from our elections. Our votes, which we mark on paper (or some of us do), are buried somewhere in the complexity.
We need to return counting of ballots to hand counting. This manual provides a complete process, from opening of polling places to returning results to the clerk.
Return to Hand Counting
Returning to hand counting will not eliminate the “elections world” apparatus, at least not all of it. But — it will put the counting of votes back in the hands of the People.
The hand count process and instructions in the eManual proves hand counting will save time and money, give election day results, and provide more transparency and better security, while putting our election results back into human hands.

This easy-to-learn, the hand count process can be adapted for use in other states.
The hand count method in the eManual is based on Missouri election laws. It was used in an official election in 2023, in Osage County, Missouri, the success of which proves its accuracy and reliability.
Hand Count Guide with Instructions
The eManual provides a step-by-step process for hand counting paper ballots, empowering citizens and election officials to verify results without relying on vulnerable voting machines. In an era where trust in elections is paramount, the Missouri Method offers a practical solution to restore confidence through public oversight.
