‘Wild Ride’ – Michelle Long Spears Wins Runoff Following Chaotic Primary Election
A candidate for a county commission seat in Georgia was reported as coming in last place of 3 candidates. In reviewing precinct voting reports, her own precinct showed her as having zero votes, even though both she and her husband voted for her. A hand recount proved that some votes cast for her were not counted. The result was that she won 1st place in her race.
