Hand Counting Enhances Transparency and Provides Better Security
Have you ever heard the myth that using voting machines is more secure because machines don’t cheat. It’s amazing that our elected and election officials believe that such a comment would pacify concerns. Of course machines don’t cheat. The truth is that machines can’t turn themselves on and off — unless they are programmed to do so. Wait. Does that mean machines can be programmed to cheat?
There is so much evidence about the risks of using voting machines. Even Elon Musk posted that mail-in ballots and voting machines are too risky to use in elections.
