In February 2025, Rasmussen Reports published results of a national survey that asked participants if they would be willing to volunteer to “hand count and examine ballots … on election night.” The majority, 56%, answered “yes.” That is more than what is needed. Franklin County, OH, with about 840,000 registered voters, would need less than 2% of voters to volunteer.
